At Overlander, we understand that everything doesn’t always work out according to plan and you may need to return your item. We want to make the process as easy as possible to get you back on the road.

Most products can be returned within 30 days of purchase, provided the items are new, uninstalled, and with the original packaging.

If you've simply changed your mind about a product, we'll refund your purchase price or exchange it for a different one. Return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a manufacturer’s defect or a direct result of an error on our part.

30 days after shipment, your merchandise is no longer returnable to us but in many cases may still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty information often found in your product's packaging or user manual, or on the manufacturer's website after 30 days.

Some products cannot be returned or exchanged. Those include:

  • Products that have been installed, used, or damaged after delivery
  • Products that were custom or special ordered
  • Products that have been modified or otherwise altered
  • Products with a broken or tampered seal
  • Products that are custom in nature (eg. Custom patterned, painted, opened electrical items, performance programmers, audio head units)

We may make exceptions for the following products; however, you will have to cover return shipping expenses:

  • If products were shipped by freight carrier, typically oversized and heavy items, and the product was defective, you received the wrong product, or the shipment arrived damaged
  • If products need to be returned from outside the continental US, and the product was defective, you received the wrong product, or the shipment arrived damaged

Step 1: Start a Return From Your Online Account

Please log in to your account. Locate and click on your order under Order History. Find the item you wish to return or exchange and click on Return Item to submit your request.

Step 2: Receive a Return Authorization Number (RMA#)

One of our customer care specialists will provide you with:

  • Your RMA#
  • An email with detailed return shipping instructions

Step 3: Pack & Ship

Pack everything that came with the product using its original packaging.

  • Affix the return shipping label that we provided to the package. If we didn't provide you with a return shipping label, make sure to include the RMA# on the package
  • Ship the package to the address specified in the email you received from Step 2
  • Returns must be sent in within 10 days of shipping label being issued or a new label will need to be issued

Step 4: Receive Your Refund or Exchange

After we receive your package, we'll process your refund or exchange after it has passed inspection. You can expect to see the refund credited within 72 hours after the return has been received to the payment method that you used when you originally placed your order. Precise timing is subject to your financial institution. If you selected an exchange, we will ship your replacement promptly upon receipt and inspection of your returned item.
