Returns & Warranty

Under our guarantee you have 60 days from the date of shipment to evaluate the equipment you receive in the field and on your vehicle.  We strive to sell only quality equipment and want you to be happy and satisfied with your purchase.  If you feel like your purchase does not meet expectations you may return it for a refund, even if it is not in brand new condition.  

We want to be as fair with our amazing customers as possible but there are a few exceptions to this policy:

1. Items that are damaged due to contact, collision or abuse are not eligible for our Trail Tested guarantee.  If you run your new bumper lights into a tree sadly we won’t be able to take them back.

2. Items that have been customized (drilled, painted, etc) are not eligible for return under our Trail Tested Guarantee

3. Products that are shipped via LTL freight - typically oversized and heavy items like bumpers - will incur a 20% restocking fee unless there is an obvious manufacturer defect with the product.  

Defective Products

While we pride ourselves in our partnerships with leading vendors, accidents happen. Call us at (800) 544-8919 option #2 once you've discovered the defect, and we'll straighten it out.

Damaged Products

Occasionally packages in transit can become damaged, please do not install the damaged item and Call us right away so we can set it straight. Please note, once the damaged item has been installed, we can no longer file the claim and/or have it returned.  

Incorrect Products

If you've received an incorrect product, or if we've guaranteed fitment on your order, and the product does not fit your vehicle, give us a call at (800) 544-8919 and select option #2, and we'll start the return process for you.

Lost Packages

If your tracking information says delivered, but you haven't received your package yet, let us know. We will work with the carrier to get to the bottom of it

We’re not able to accept returns for products that:

• Shipped out to you more than 60 days ago

• Have been modified from their original form (drilled, painted, bent, etc)

• Don’t have all the original accessories and components

• Are damaged due to abuse, contact or poor judgement.

Returns happen, and we're here to make the experience easy! In some cases, you are responsible for return shipping, but we can often offer you a discounted return shipping label. If your item arrived defective, we made a mistake, or you wish to exchange your item, we will happily take care of the return shipping. We’ll also take care of the return shipping for items returned under our Trail Tested Guarantee policy.

Please contact us within 30 minutes of placing your order. We will make every attempt to cancel the order, but cannot guarantee we will be able to do so before the order ships. If we cannot cancel your order before it ships, the buyer is responsible for shipping the item back subject to our return policy.

We offer a 1-Year Low Price Guarantee on everything we sell. If you see an item you purchased cheaper within 1 year of your purchase email support@overlander.com and we’ll refund the difference. A few conditions apply:

• The item being referenced must be new and be sold by an authorized, reputable dealer as determined by Overlander.com.

• The item must comply with any minimum advertised price guidelines from the manufacturer. We are unable to price match products in violation of a brand’s MAP pricing.

• Pricing match must be for an identical product in terms of size, style, color, quantity for price breaks, etc.

• In the event it’s difficult or impossible to refund your credit card for the difference in pricing you’ll be issued store credit on Overlander.com for a future purchase.

Shipping and Delivery

Because our products ship from different warehouses in different states, shipping times to your address will vary. The estimated time for your item to leave the warehouse is listed directly below the price of each individual product, and on the Order Status Page. Please allow an additional 1 to 5 business days after the shipment date for delivery.

For expedited shipping options, please email us at support@overlander.com. We'll contact you with the express delivery options for your items.

**Please note: orders shipped with expedited delivery options are not eligible for Overlander's Free Shipping.

Overlander uses the best possible shipping method for your order's delivery. The shipping company used to handle your order will vary by item, manufacturer or fulfillment center. At this time, we cannot change the shipping method used for your item(s) on request.

**Please note: to be eligible for Free Shipping, Overlander must select the shipping company and method for your item. Express shipping options are not eligible for our Free Shipping offers.


Absolutely! After you proceed to checkout, enter the address where you'd like your order delivered. Then, select the "no" button below, indicating the address you entered is not your billing address.

Please enter your billing address at the next screen, and make sure it's the same address that appears on your monthly statement. For extra precaution and to avoid any possible delays with your order, you may want to notify your credit card company that you are shipping to an alternate address.


Because we work directly with the manufacturers, items may ship at different times from various locations in separate boxes. Therefore, we cannot assure you that items will ship together or arrive at the same time.

We usually receive a tracking number from our manufacturers when your order ships. We then email this tracking number to you within 24 hours of your order shipping out, so you can easily track your package(s) from the factory to your door.

You can also retrieve a tracking number when you check your Order Status. If a tracking number is available, it will show in the "shipping status" column. Each tracking number is linked to the shipper's website for updated package status and estimated delivery date.

A tracking number may not be available for your order if the item has not shipped yet, is still being custom-manufactured for your vehicle, or if the direct-ship vendor for your item does not provide tracking numbers.


At this time, we are unable to issue special shipping instructions to delivery drivers (i.e. leave package with neighbor, leave package on porch, etc.). You may leave a note on for the driver on your door with special instructions; however, the delivery of the package is still at the discretion of the driver.

Once your item has shipped and you have received a tracking number, you can attempt to give special delivery instructions to the shipping company handling your package(s).


For your security, our manufacturers may require a signature for delivery. You may leave a note for the driver with special instructions, however, the delivery of the package is still at the discretion of the driver.

Most oversized packages and/or packages shipping on LTL freight do not ship free. We do our best to source lowest-available rates to get your gear to you quickly & safely. Shipping options will be provided to you at checkout. Feel free to give us a call with any questions.
