For the price its great

This fits my 2010 Land Rover LR4 perfectly, it doesn't over hang on the sides at all. I wasn't expecting James Baroud quality (its about 1/4 of the price) For the price its a great tent. I haven't slept in it yet but I could see some wanting to add a topper or a thicker mattress. I will probably add secondary clamps to hold it closed as it seems like most of the higher end tents have those as redundancy in case the fabric straps fail. One thing I think it should have is a point to clip the ladder to. The ladder has clips but there only place to put them is directly on the fabric side of the tent which is sure to wear it down eventually. If you look closely at this photo you will see how the fabric is tugged down by the ladder. I may rivet/bolt a couple of brackets to the side. The ABS plastic is light and looks good but will probably need constant protection (armor all) to keep it looking great. If you can get one, definitely pick up a squeeze ratchet to install, there isn't a lot of roof to maneuver a ratchet under the tent when bolting it down.
